2024 Newsletter
As some of you may know, we’ve been “offline” for almost the entire year of 2024. This was a conscious choice we made to go on an introspective journey and practice being present. It’s a work in progress.
However, we are alive and well. We are sharing this update with you, our family and friends, in an effort to stay connected. We would love to hear from you in return.
2024 was filled primarily with two experiences that are nearly polar opposites. Touring on a motorcycle, traveling place to place every few days in the cold harsh winds of Patagonia. And watching plants grow, working the same plot of land day in and day out in the hot harsh winds of central Maui.
Part A
Motorcycle through Patagonia
January 2024, we purchased a touring motorcycle. Starting from Tierra del Fuego we rode 4,000 miles through Argentina and Chile. It was an epic journey through the deserts and mountains of Patagonia.
We haven’t yet found the time to process and write a cohesive story for “Part A” of 2024. We’re working on it.

Part B
Farming on Maui
While we were away, we decided that it would be the right time to pursue our dream of starting a farm. And so, back on Maui, we shifted gears, bought an old pickup truck and began our education.
In “Part B” of our 2024 Newsletter, we share a brief glimpse into our farming journey.
It’s early days yet, but we’re already harvesting and delivering fresh organic veggies to our community. And we have exciting plans for 2025.
